Move-Up America Saved Its Customers $5.4 Million Dollars In Real Estate Commissions in 2005  


January 15, 2006 – AUSTIN, TEXAS – Move-Up America LLC, the leading contingency management company for production homebuilders announced today that the Move-Up program saved its customers $5.4 million dollars in real estate commissions in 2005, up 11% from 2004, with an average savings per customer of $6687.  That is a substantial amount of money that most people can find quite useful when purchasing a new home.
 
Move-Up participants in Dallas benefited the most, saving a total of $1,361,597 in transaction fees, narrowly beating out Atlanta area home sellers and their $1,200,659 in savings. A vibrant real estate market in San Antonio helped it post numbers usually reserved for larger markets with $859,978 in commission savings. Satisfied customers in Austin ($707,857) and Houston ($688,073) round out the top five markets.  The highest rebate given in 2005 was $10,000 to a customer in Atlanta
